Bar #1: Puck ‘n Wings
Quick description: This is a neighbourhood hangout that is packed for the game. Their mix ‘n match create-your-own salads and 50 different kinds of wings are a little different from the daily grind.
Quick review: We came, we watched hockey, we ate wings, and we weren’t impressed. The TV’s were a bit hard to get a good viewing angle on, and half of them were playing the baseball game (I’m not against watching the Jays, but it’s called Puck ‘n Wings, not Ball ‘n Wings). Although they have a great selection, it was just pretty pricey and not that tasty.
Bar #2: St. Louis Wings
Quick description: A chain restaurant known for their wings, chunky cut fries, and dill sauce.
Quick review: In the area, this is our favourite spot for wings and sports (football and hockey are popular). I wouldn’t go for the other menu items, though.
